Modern leisure and sightseeing agriculture is a rise in the1960s known as theecological and cultural tourism of agriculture which has the function of production,leisure, entertainment, education. Leisure and sightseeing rice farm is an importantpart of modern leisure agriculture, currently with the theme of rice’s leisure farms areemerging, a lot of leisure agriculture construction make a great success in theadvanced countries and regions. This paper will take the modern leisure andsightseeing rice farm as the research object to summarize from its origin,object,significance, ecological, mode and so on, which was based on the previous study.modern leisure rice farm is a new form of leisure agriculture which combinesagricultural production, tourism, recreation and education. Through the study on theleisure rice farm’s development course at home and abroad, we should lay emphasison absorbing the experience, catch the key point, and then in a relatively advancedconcept to explore how to built and develop the leisure rice farm, at last get aconstruction thoughts and development strategies. Finally with rice as research object,we analyze the characteristics of leisure agriculture of rice and raise the idea andplanning in detail of exploiting and developing it. we desire to set up a sample projectof the modern leisure rice farm,aiming at contributing to the planning andconstruction of agricultural production, tourism, recreation and leisure and learningeducation of four in one modern leisure rice farm to provide references.
