Research On Selection And Development Quality Of Pillar Industries In Jiangxi Province

As the central role in economic development, Pillar industry is the core of region economic development.There is a very important theoretical significance and application value to select the reasonable pillar industries and evaluate its development quality by the systems science way.Based on the results from national and foreign scholars, choosing Jiangxi Province industry as the research object, this thesis clearly defined the connotations of pillar industry and developing quality of the pillar industry. Meanwhile, based on the theories of pillar industry and its development quality, and combined with appropriate benchmark innovation, this thesis builds a stereo selective framework of pillar industry and an evaluation index system of development quality of pillar industry.Through three screening of the stereo selective framework, the paper ultimately chooses Smelting and Pressing of Non-ferrous Metals, Manufacture of Non-metallic Mineral Products, Manufacture of Electrical Machinery and Equipment. Manufacture of Transport Equipment, Processing of Food from Agricultural Products as the future pillar industries of JiangXi Province.Finally, with the method of factor analysis, we get the score and sort of twenty-nine industrial industries developing quality in JiangXi Province during the year from2007to2011. Then, through the combined method of longitudinal and transverse comparative analysis, this thesis evaluates the development quality of the five pillar industries which have been chosen above and finds out the key factor of each pillar industry.
