LED has been greatly used in major projects due to its advantages such as energysaving, environmental protection and long life. Meanwhile, LED display industry is anindustry whose products can be easy to be imitated and can be homogenized seriously. Howthe enterprise should remain competitive and achieve continuous profits in the increasinglyfierce market has become a topic that medium and small-sized enterprises concern. In order tosurvive and develop, the enterprise must conduct continuous innovation in terms oftechnology and form differentiation in products, so enhancing the core competitiveness of theenterprise is crucial.Based on core competitiveness theory and by adopting a case analysis method, this paperanalyzes the elements of core competitiveness, evaluation contents and methods, evaluationindexes and models and factors influencing core competitiveness of LED display enterprise,establishes and cultivates LED display core competitiveness, uses Michael Porter’s FiveForces Model and SWOT theory to analyze Company W’s advantages, disadvantages,opportunities and threats and obtain core competitiveness advantages of Company W, namely,a wealth of experience in the industry and brand influence, sustainable technologicalinnovative ability, technical advantages of product research, pioneering advantages of railwayand track transportation markets, professional LED display application integration solution,excellent corporate culture and reliable product quality. Then this paper analyzes the internaland external environment affecting the core competitiveness of LED display enterprise andconclude common issues in LED display industry and internal problems of Company W.Finally, this paper concludes nine approaches to enhance the core competitiveness of LEDdisplay enterprise, namely: strengthening investment in product research, and improving theenterprise technological innovative ability; strengthening the integration of industry chain anddeveloping an industry-university-research way; perfecting enterprise process and improvingenterprise operation efficiency; strengthening supervision of product quality and eliminating potential safety hazards; strengthening pre-sale technical support and after-sale servicedevelopment; seizing the opportunities and challenges brought about by listing and enhancingenterprise core competitiveness; using network new media to establish marketing networksystem, complying with administrative regulations of LED outdoor display and eradicatinglight pollution; attaching great importance on the quality of tender documents and establishingfeedback form of tender information.LED display enterprise should make best use of the advantages and bypass thedisadvantages, seize market opportunities, meet the challenges, adapt to market trends,establish the core competitiveness of LED display enterprise and find out a way for long-termdevelopment of LED display enterprise. |
