Research On The Regional Differences Of Urbanization Level In Henan Province

The city is a regional center for economic, cultural and socio-political. The level of urbanization is ameasure of a region’s socio-economic development and overall strength of regional flag. For Henan is theagricultural province and populous province of China’s, urbanization is not only conducive to resolve thecity’s inadequate domestic demand and market constraints, more conducive to solving problems in ruralareas, agriculture and farmers problems. Under the contemporary fast development of economy, thedevelopments of urbanization bring economic development the biggest growth space; effectively solve the"urban disease" and "rural disease" problem. It can also bring protection to the socio-economic sustainabledevelopment.The regional difference of urbanization development is a common state of regional development.Improving the level of urbanization in Henan Province, is conducive to resolving the agricultural efficiencyand rural incomes, rural stability, and promotes the coordinated development of urban and rural areas, andan effective way to narrow the gap between urban and rural. It also is an important guarantee for building amoderately prosperous society. Lag of urbanization in Henan province and development of regionaldisparities, to a large extent affected economic development in Henan province, is currently in the processof urbanization in Henan province to solve the problem.Taking Henan province city of18provincial as the basic research unit, using statistical software in theprincipal component analysis and cluster analysis, evaluate regional differences of urbanization development level of Henan province, and carries on the classification of regional differences. First of all, on the related concepts and elaborates the related theory, summarizes the content of the development of urbanization, some theories and research methods. Secondly, analyze the current situation of the development of urbanization in Henan province, analyzing the characteristics of urbanization, the problems, puts forward the countermeasures and Suggestions. Again, to18provincial (tube) city in Henan province as the research object, in2010, for inspect time, build the evaluation index system of urbanization comprehensive development levelof Henan province, to standardize the index system and establish the relevant evaluation model. Fourth,First, by use of Excel charts, ArcGIS spatial analysis and principal component analysis and other analysismethods, analysis of calculation results, an anatomy in2010in Henan province urbanization development level, population urbanization development level, urbanization and economic development level,urbanization development level of social life, resources and environment of urbanization and infrastructuredevelopment level of urbanization development level, the analysis of regional differences. Secondly,through the time series data, analysis the evolution of the regional difference of urbanizationcomprehensive development level of Henan province. Fifth, on the basis of urbanization comprehensivedevelopment level, in Henan province urbanization level of clustering analysis, and combined with thegeographical characteristics and the development strategy of regional integration in Henan province, Henanprovince urbanization level region classification scheme is put forward and the development direction.Based on the evaluation results found that, first, from the overall development of urbanization inHenan province, Henan province urbanization development relatively backward, the overall spatialdistribution is unreasonable, the regional differences, the industrial structure is not reasonable. Second, thelevel of urbanization in Henan province regional differences are mainly embodied on the space differencesin four major areas in the province, and the differences between different areas in the north, the western andsouthern Henan is a little bit small, eastern inner smaller regional differences. Third, factors of urbanizationin Henan province regional difference, main performance for the economic development in the regionaldifference of urbanization level.
