In the present world, with the swift development of information technology, the competition among enterprises is the competition for talents; the competition for talents among enterprises is the competition about enterprise’s performance management system, which more and more people pay attention to. Efficient performance management is the central tache for an organization to win the competitions. It turns enterprise aim into detailed, measurable standards. It divides the long-term goal into stuffs’job-specific responsibilities. It traces the changes of longitudinal and inter-departmental from quantified measures. It finds the problems in time and points the reasons why the performance can’t reach budget plans. It shows at a glance the core competitiveness and faults of the enterprise. It supports effective information of efficacious operating decision and action result. It encourages teamwork and cooperation, measures employees’performance in ways that motivate them to work in the best interest of their employers.Based on the result of enterprise’s performance management system and the performance evaluation methods at home and broad, the thesis aims to find out the problems hidden in the current situation of the OP Company performance management, which used documentation researching method and in-depth interviews. The findings are as follow:(1)The idea of its performance appraisal is unclear.(2)The direction of its assessment criteria is vague.(3)The guidance section of performance is absent.(4) The application of the result of appraisal is insufficient.(5)The communication of the result of appraisal is little. The thesis poses questions, makes suggestions, and states specific cases that demand solution to make OP Company’s performance management better.
