The development of economic and technology is very fast in this society as the internet age’s coming, and the competition between enterprises is increasingly fierce. How to survival form the competition, this is a problem of every business owner. The competition between enterprises is the "people" competition in the final analysis. How the enterprises can make good use of talent, there is no way without a scientific performance appraisal system.This thesis studied T company performance appraisal optimizing strategy based on related theories and common used performance appraisal methods such as balanced score card, key performance indicator,360degree performance appraisal, management by objectives. First, this thesis expounded the background and the significance of the research. Subsequent, after retrieving and reading massive related literatures, the thesis introduces the theories about the performance, performance appraisal and common used methods. Then, summarized the problems of T company performance appraisal system, such as the staff’s performance appraisal knowledge and skills were insufficient, the indexes establishment was unreasonable, and the performance appraisal methods were imperfect. Then, the thesis provided the performance appraisal optimizing strategy guided by the theories and based on those problems and T company actual conditions. First step is to promote the staff’s knowledge and skills by concept communication and training. Second step is to establish the indexes scientifically by optimizing enterprise level indexes, department level indexes, staffs level indexes based on enterprise strategy. Third step is to improve the performance appraisal methods by optimizing performance appraisal flow, feedback communication, representations mechanism, appraisal results using and so on. Finally, get the conclusions and further suggestions of this study.
