Nowadays, logistics has never been emphasized by all countries around the world. What’s more, as the central reflection of professional logistics, the third-party logistics has become a new force in the rapid development of logistics industry. However, under the condition of the fierce market economy, the domestic Third-party logistics enterprises have come across a variety of problems. The development of logistics runs into bottleneck. From the macro perspective, China’s Third-party logistics enterprises show the following features:great quantity, small scale, immature logistics market, disordered development, and so on. From the microscopic point of view, third-party logistics enterprises in China still have many problems in running management and logistics operation. In order to get sustainable development, Third-party logistics enterprises need to address these issues.In this paper, the author takes a third-party logistics company-Amway Corporation for example to make the comprehensive analysis to Amway Corporation from the perspective of company’s existing resources and business. The author also analyses the existing problems of warehousing, distribution, transportation, inventory business and human resource management in the Amway Corporation logistics management and studies the problems to put forward the improvement goals and optimization program for logistics and human resource management of the Amway Corporation in this paper. The improvement goals and optimization program can provide the support for improving the efficiency of the management and operation of the Amway Corporation and reduce the cost of logistics enterprises, accelerate the pace of cash flow and make sure the corporate health, stability and sustainable development.This paper is divided into five parts, mainly including the following contents:In the first part, this paper introduces the research background; in the second part, this paper summarizes the theory of logistics and the Third-party logistics; in the third part, the author introduces existing resources and business of Amway Corporation and analyzes the problems of logistics management; in the fourth part, the author offers some improvement and optimization strategies through analyzing the problems in the logistics management of the Amway Corporation; finally, the author makes the conclusion.
