Abstract/Summary:
After30years of development, trade in services has become an integral part of China’s national economy and it has made important contributions to the prosperity and sustainable development of China’s economy. In the same time, the high quality development of the services trade has improved the quality of people’s lives; richen the life content and provided more channels for exchanging and contacting with the outside world. However, compared with some more mature countries in the development of trade in services, the development of China’s service trade still has more problems and defects. This comparative analysis of trade in services between our country and other countries will help us to find out the existing problems in the development of our country. Then, with these analyses, we can put forward the further development measures and improvement channels. In order to further analyze China’s service trade development and promotion model, we put The United States, China and Japan on the same level to compare, for this reason, we will elaborate the management mode, the legislative system, the statistical system, coordinating bodies, trading platform of there countries, and then introduce The United States that is the first country that advocates the full liberalization of trade in services. To deeply find the reasons, one is the need for economic development of the United States; another one is associated with the global strategy of the United States. Through the external expansion of trade in services, the United States will as much as possible to seize the market share of developing and emerging countries, then to further consolidate the dominant position of the U.S. economy in the world economy. This is similar to Japan for the intent that becomes the economic hegemony in Asia; she actively promotes the development of service trade liberalization in Asia. In order to promote the rapid development of trade in services, the United States and Japan has developed more comprehensive promotion policies, and form a unique bilateral trade managing mode. China should learn from the excellent experience of the two countries, draw lessons from failures, and do our best to build a set of mode that suitable for China’s national conditions and the actual of trade in services.
