| Man-earth relationship is an objective relationship, which is exist since theorigins of mankind and not to man’s will. Simply,man-earth relationship is refers tothe relationship between human activities and geographical environment. The islandtourism destination is a special type of tourism destination that relative to otherresource-based tourism destination, including the island itself and its surrounding seas,which can inspire people’s travel motivations and travel demand, and can attractpeople make tourism activities such as sightseeing, excursions, leisure, and vacation.The contradictions of man-earth relationship in island tourism destination is verysharp. We need to explore the relationship and the interaction process and interactionmechanism between human activities and the geographical environment. Then we canseek the way of coordinated development of man-earth relationship of island tourismdestination.Based on existing theories and methods of geography, systematic, tourism andother related disciplines, combined with relevant research results have been achievedat home and abroad, this paper define the scope of relevant concepts and explore thecharacteristics and composition of man-earth system of island tourism destination,then build the evaluation index system of the system. Based on this, take Zhou Shanas an example, collect data and information of Zhou Shan island, we use entropyevaluation method to calculate the weight of evaluation indexes. And on the basis ofthis, this paper uses coordinated development model to evaluate and analyze the levelof Man-earth relationship of Zhou Shan islands during2002to2011, then using grayforecasting model to predict the coordination development trend of Man-earthrelationship of Zhou Shan islands from2012to2016. Through the above analysis andcalculation, we try to find the interaction process and the interaction mechanism for the coordinated development of the man-earth relationship, which can guide thecoordinated development of the man-land relationship of Zhan Shan islands. Themain research work of this paper summarized below:1Summary of the existing research results and related support theoretical. On theperspective of man-land relationship to study island tourism destination, this paperanalyze the characteristics and constitute of the man-land relationship system.2According to every related aspects of statistical data of Zhou Shan islands from2002to2011, this paper uses entropy evaluation method to calculate the weight ofevaluation indexes system of the coordinated development of the man-landrelationship. We get result that the weight of ‘man’ is0.5068, the weight of ‘land’ is0.4933. That shows on the current development stage of Zhou Shan islands, thedevelopment of “man†system is more important than “landâ€system, theimprovement population quality, economic development and social progress are stillthe focus of Zhou Shan islands development.3Use coordinated development model to calculate the coordinated developmentdegree of Zhou Shan islands man-earth relationship from2002to2011. Bycalculating the coordinated development degree, it is found that the degree between“man†system and “land†system is0.7848in2002,but in this degree is0.9566in2011,it means that in general man-earth relationship in Zhou Shan islands shows atrend of steady growth, and during this decade, the relationship betweenâ€manâ€system and “land†system is coordinated, which refers that Zhou Shan islands careabout economic development and social progress, while also focusing on thesustainable development of resources and environment protection. According tocalculate the coordinated development degree, we found that in the decade between2002to2011, the coordinated development degree between “man†system and “landâ€system trend to upward. In2002, the coordinated development degree is0.2837, after10years of development,in2011, the degree of the “man†system and “land†systemis0.6150, and the growth of coordinated development degree is relatively gentle.4Use gray prediction model to predict the coordinated development degree ofZhou Shan Man-earth relationship in the next five years, establish the analysis of the model, make the model calculation and the accuracy of the model test, we get theresults of the coordinated development degree of the man-earth relationship from2012to2016, analysis this results, without mutation happened on the man-earthrelationship system of Zhou Shan islands, the coordinated development of man-earthrelationship system of Zhou Shan islands in the next five years has increased year byyear. Which presents a development trend of relatively gentle increase, and in2015,the coordinated development degree of man-earth relationship is0.7192, that meansthe coordinated development reaches the intermediate level. |
