Study On The Coordinated Development Of Regional Tourism Industry Efficiency And Economy

Along with the continuous development,the important role of tourism industry in national economy is also increasingly apparent.Tourism industry has strongly promoted the regional economy,while at the same time it also cannot develop without the support of regional economy.Thus to keep a perfect coordination between the two would be important for both of them.In recent years,most of the studies on the relationship between regional tourism industry and economy have only proceeded from the overall level,emphasized the scale of tourism industry,but neglected its development quality.Based on this,this paper started from the efficiency of tourism industry,analyzed the coordination relationship between regional tourism industry and economic development,made a further extension on the study of the relationship between them.Based on the analysis and summarization of the previous studies,this paper started with an elaboration of relevant concepts and theories of the theme.Then introduced the mechanism of coordinated development between regional tourism industry efficiency and economy.Took 14 cities of Hunan Province as example.Time spans from year 2010 to 2016.Firstly,this paper used the method of data envelopment analysis and the entropy method to measure the efficiency of the tourism industry and economy level in each cites.Then built a coupling coordination model to analyze the coordinated development between the two.The results showed that:the tourism industry efficiency in more than half of the area in Hunan Province is ineffective currently.The quality of the tourism industry in Hunan province still remain to be improved.The overall regional economy is staying a low level,the economic gap between the high level area and the lower one is large.The coordination between regional tourism industry and economy is also not high.Except for Changsha city,the coordination relationship between the two in others area are all staying a low-level stage.The regional tourism industry and economy have not achieved a good mutual promotion yet.To achieve a good coordination between the regional tourism industry.and economy.Firstly,we must increase the emphasis on efficiency of the tourism industry,to reverse the previous One-sided understanding of the development of the tourism industry.At the same time,attention must be pay to the overall economic development of the region while strive to develop the tourism industry,to ensure the continued support from the region,and make sure the regions can better digest the benefits brought by the tourism industry.In the end,according to the different levels of coordination between regional tourism industry efficiency and economy,this paper offered several corresponding suggestions,to help each area promote a better coordination and interaction between regional tourism industry and economy.
