Research On The Value Evaluation Of Tourism Resources In Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture

Tourism resources, as the material basis of tourism development, Through anyrational evaluation of the tourism resources,is the foundation of the development andprotection of the tourism resources.Since the national standard "the tourism resourcesclassification, investigation and evaluation"(GB/T18972-2003) issued and implemented,many scholars have raised a research wave of tourism value evaluation. the evaluationmethod and mode also gradually become one of the key and difficult points for tourismresearch.In this paper,we used the Labor value theory in political economics and westerneconomics,based on the analysis of resources abundance, reserves abundance, qualityand spatial distribution of xiangxi autonomous prefecture tourism resources, concludedthe overall tourism resources characteristic: the number and type of rich variety,excellent quality, obvious regional feature. To evaluate the value of xiangxi tourismresources, we used the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods.Qualitativemethods mainly adopted qualitative method, Delphi, the Delphi method for datacollection; Quantitative method mainly adopts the travel cost method (TCM) andcontingent value method (CVM), using questionnaire for data collection. XiangxiAutonomous prefecture tourism use value and non-use value estimate, evaluate theworth up to$25.36billion by2011Suggestions for tourist resources. Based onSuggestions for statistics analysis, Suggestions for tourism resources in the developmentof the economic income by2011has reached8.328billion yuan, to develop tourismresources project will achieve5.061billion yuan of tourism revenue, according to buildmathematical model, if3to5years to increase the number of visitors50%,2times theprice of ticket price according to the ancient city of phoenix, the tourism income canreach373~373yuan, tourism development potential is enormous value. ButSuggestions for the development area of nearly200square kilometers, has nowdeveloped more than20square kilometers, most tourism resources has not beeneffective development, in the idle state, therefore, can be scientific and rationaldevelopment vigorously.These data show that the tourism resources of xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture mosthave not been effective development. Therefore,through the systematic analysis ofcurrent situation of tourism resources in Xiangxi, we put forward some more scientificand reasonable countermeasures, and help people in Western Ethnic Areas finding amore suitable way for their own tourism resources development.
