An Empirical Research On The Contribution Of Xinjiang’s Trade Of Agricultural Products To The Growth Of Agricultural Economy

In the recent decades，as the "engine" of economic growth, trade has been playing avital important role in China and XinJiang’s development. With the acceleration of the globaleconomic, agricultural is gradually integrating with the world economic system. Therelationship between the international trade of agricultural Product and the growth ofagricultural economic is more and more close. Xinjiang, especially the vast areas of thesouthern border, is essentially a large rural, its real problem is that the problems about"Agriculture, Rural areas and Peasantry", and one effective measure to solve the problems ispromoting the development of the international trade of agricultural products. So, studying onthe relationship between trade of agricultural products and agricultural economic growth inXinjiang and the system and constrained condition in promoting agricultural economic withthe way of developing the trade of agricultural products is quite necessary, because on onehand, it is helping to value the affect of agricultural products’ trade in the development ofagricultural economic growth in Xinjiang Objectively; on the other hand, it is helping thedecision makers to carry on policies that can maximum the profits from the international tradeof agricultural products, and helping to realize the "leapfrog development" in Xinjiang.This paper studies the relation between Xinjiang’s agricultural economic growth and itsimport and export trade. The paper has five parts: firstly, valuing the related thesis; thenstudying on the present status of development in Xinjiang’s agricultural economic growth andits international trade, and finding some problems in the international trade of agriculturalProduct; in the next part, firstly, researching on system between the two from the theoryperspective, then testing the relationship of the two with the empirical analysis; the fourth,from the point of problems in the trade of agricultural product, finding the restricting factorsin developing the trade agricultural product to promote the growth in Xinjiang’s agriculturaleconomic; finally, based on the result that the international trade of agricultural product canpromote the development of agricultural economic growth, with the method that can solve theproblems in agricultural product’s trade, and putting forward suggestions to promote the tradeof agricultural products.Through analysis, get following conclusions:(1) the agricultural product trade and theoutput and the structure of agricultural in Xinjiang develops very well;(2) There are some problems to be solved, such as the lower manufacturing capability in agricultural product andthe centralized trade markets.(3) from the long term, there is a steadily relationship with theagriculture output、the agricultural capital input、the agricultural labor force and Import andexport of agricultural products, every1percent growth in export、import and generalagricultural products’ trade will promote agricultural economic growth at0.094%、0.132%、0.199%.(4) During the “12th Five-Year Plan Period”, facing the chance of the betterdevelopment、opening-up policy and construct, the government should carry on the reliablepolicy to solve the problem in agricultural products’ trade, and to improve, accelerate developthe trade in agricultural products, to deeply contribute to a better and faster agriculturaleconomic growth deeply.
