According to statistics, The world tourism consumption s Tourism shopping inthe proportion of increasing. In the tourism industry in the more developed countriesand regions, tourism shopping income accounts for more than40%of the total incomeof tourism industry, developing countries, even in the tourism industry, tourismshopping income proportion is generally above20%, while China accounted for only21%of the income of tourism commodities, Gansu tourism commodity incomeaccounted for only10%. Tourism product as the core object of tourism shopping, to acertain extent, its development marks the development of the tourism industry of acountry or region to the depth and breadth. Gansu is located in the "heart" of Chinesegeography, has extremely rich humanities, natural tourism resources, tourism is astrong momentum of development, But with the domestic tourism good provincephotograph are compared, the Gansu tourism development status is still not before,especially the development of tourist commodities in the lower level, income oftourism commodities in the total tourism revenue in the proportion of small, thedevelopment of tourism commodities and tourism industry development level ofspeed is not matching. At present, Gansu and even the system research to thedevelopment of tourism commodities domestic little, lack of scientific guidance,feasible development mechanism and the implementation plan, this paper use theresearch methods of literature study and empirical analysis, applying the relatedtheories of tourism commodities, through the investigation and analysis of Gansutourism commodity market, the paper deeply analyzes the development Gansutourism commodity regional features, theme product is not obvious, the developmentlevel is not high, the price is not standardized, guide services to the poor and otherissues, and these problems are the research of countermeasures, proposed theestablishment of Gansu tourism product development and strategic goal, focused R&D market commodity, construct the development of new ways of personnel training,enhance the design ability, building a diversified sales network, strengthen themanagement of tourism commodity market, countermeasures and suggestions, thebasic form of the embryonic form of Gansu’s tourism product developmentmechanism and support system development, to fill the gaps in the developmentstrategy of tourism commodities in Gansu, in order to contribute to the realization ofdevelopment strategy of Gansu tourism industry, promote the economic benefits oftourism industry growth.
