Empirical Research On The Relevancy Between Forein Direct Investment And Carbon Emission Of Heilongjiang Province

The concept of "green investment" exceptionally becomes high-profile today, thelevel of the actual use of foreign capital of an area not only embodies in absoluteforeign direct investment. Heilongjiang province is the province rich in resources andold industrial base, the level of utilization of foreign capital and low carbon economydevelopment level is in relatively backward position across the country. In thetransformation of the pattern of economic development becomes the "twelfthfive-year" period in Heilongjiang province under the background of economic andsocial development of the main line, the research on the correlation between FDI andcarbon emissions in Heilongjiang province, and finding for designated benigninteraction principle should become the research focus nowadays.First, the characteristics of FDI and carbon emissions of Heilongjiang provincewere analyzed. In these three aspects: as a whole, industrial structure and regionalspace, foreign direct investment in Heilongjiang province presents characteristics asfollows: the total continues to grow, concentrated in the second industry, the industrialdistribution and density distribution in the Hadaqi industrial corridor. Heilongjiangprovince for nearly30years total carbon emissions present increasing year by year,the per capita emissions keeps rising emissions and scale characteristics per tenthousand yuan GDP keeps stable.Traditional research in general use VAR model to study of the correlationbetween variables, so VAR model also applies to foreign direct investment: Inempirical study of relationship between carbon emissions in Heilongjiang province.In addition to the model in the empirical research, also use the commonly used ineconomics cointegration test, granger causality test and other methods. Based on theabove cognition, no correlation between FDI and carbon emissions in Heilongjiangprovince; according to the division of industrial structure, FDI is closely related to thecarbon emissions of the second industry; according to the geographical space research,regions that attract more FDI carbon emissions growth is not the cause.Finally, on the basis of above study, based on point of view of macro system,medium industry level and micro level of different, countermeasures and suggestionsfor promoting FDI positive interaction with carbon in Heilongjiang province are putforward. At the system level, for example, it should strengthen the infrastructureconstruction, establish and improve the low carbon development support system; Atthe industry level, it should adjust the industrial structure, optimizing the capitalstructure; At the technical level, it should take an active part in internationalcooperation, promote the energy-saving in key areas and enterprises.
