Abstract/Summary:
Enterprise Strategy concerns itself with the company’s direction of developmentand its business scope, which is significantly important as it aims at pursingsustainable competitive advantages of the enterprise. At present, Fujian BeifengTelecom Technology Co. Ltd must devise a set of practical development strategies inorder to confront the challenges presented by the business opportunities promptedby the Internet of Things, and the global renewal of intercom technologies. Suchstrategies are expected to have the effect on promoting the transformation of thedevelopment models of telecom companies.Based on the domestic and international research of Strategic Management Theory,this article adopts a method that combines qualitative description and quantitativeanalysis. Using the PEST Analysis and the Five Forces Model, this paper presents ancomprehensive analysis on Fujian’s Beifeng Telecom Technology Co. Ltd, includingits external environment, internal resources, and capacity. In addition, using themethod of the External Factor Evaluation Matrix, the Internal Factor EvaluationMatrix, and the SWOT Analysis, the author lays out all the opportunities and threatswith which Beifeng is confronted, along with the advantages and disadvantagesBeifeng possesses. Then, the author proposes eight alternative strategies. Bycomprehensively evaluating these alternative strategies, the development strategiesfor Beifeng is concluded as following: exposure to the external environment whereopportunities prevail threats, and to the internal environment where advantagesoverweight disadvantages, Fujian’s Beifeng Telecom Technology Co. Ltd should bea market-oriented company, which regards Strategic Alliance as a means, dependson Technical Innovation, targets at the application development which are tailoredfor the terminal clients from every walk of life. That means Beifeng shouldimplement a Mixed strategy made up of Product development strategy, strategicalliances, market penetration strategy, and differentiation strategy. At last, topicsrelated to technology development, marketing, inner management, human recourse, and corporate culture should be put on the table for discussion so as to work out thedefinite steps and safeguards, which will ensure that the strategies can be effectivelyimplemented.From the perspective of Product positioning, Strategic Positioning, BusinessModel, and Market positioning, there exists no substantial difference among the over200transceiver industries in Quanzhou. Therefore, this article is not only instructiveand meaningful for Beifeng, but also valuable references to other companies.
