Land eco-security is the core of researching sustainable land use. In recent years, with the continuedgrowth of the global population, industrialization and urbanization, making the strength of the humandevelopment and utilization of land resources increase, the attendant land ecological security issuesincreasingly prominent. Qinghai Province is located in the northeastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateauand Chinese animal husbandry gathering area. Because of the loose management, the overload grazing andpoor awareness of the protection of land resources and other reasons, making the region to seriousdesertification and land, the ecological environment has been severely damaged.The this article select Qinghai Province as the study area, and learn from the research on the basis ofselected factors that affect the regional land eco-security to build land eco-security evaluation index system.The use of matter-element model to evaluate the land eco-security and analyse land eco-security dynamicvariation in Qinghai Province in2000-2010. In eight cities across the province (state, region) landeco-security evaluation, analysis of the spatial heterogeneity of the land ecological security, further thesustainable use of land resources for ecologically fragile land resources, restoration and reconstruction ofthe ecological environment to provide a reliable basis. The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)11-year land eco-security in Qinghai comprehensive value gradually increased, land eco-securitystatus by a "less safe" state to a "critical security" state, but the associated value (-1,0), indicating that thelevel are unstable. As a turning point, the increase in land eco-security level to "critical security", but doesnot fully comply with the N03standard, have transformed N03, relatively unstable state of the criticalitysafety in2008. And2000compared to2010, the overall level of Qinghai Province land eco-securityrelative to the N04,N05levels of membership gradually weakened relative to the N01, N02, N03, membershipin the enhancement. This shows that the countries to support large-scale development of the western regionof Qinghai Province and special Tibet policies and returning farmland to forest and pasture and soil erosioncontrol, focus on increasing ecological construction and environmental protection efforts, and strive tobuild a national eco-security barrier, making the Regional land ecosystem improvement has been noticed.(2) Cities (state, regional) land eco-security conditions are not the same. Improving trend in HainanState, Huangnan and Haidong Prefecture land ecological security; Haixi and Xining City land eco-securityof the overall downward trend, more serious ecological degradation; Yushu, Guoluo and Haibei to maintain the same level as in2000.(3) Affect the level of Qinghai land ecological security a major constraint to economic density, percapita arable land, forest and grass coverage, water and soil coordination, the proportion of inundated areaand fertilizer application rate.(4) Based on the sustainable use of land eco-security countermeasures and suggestions. This study onthe basis of the evaluation, combined with the local reality, put forward the corresponding countermeasures.Improve the efficiency of land use, popularity land resource protection awareness of the law, to strengthenthe development and protection of natural resources, soil erosion and land desertification control,prevention and control of pollution of resources, improve the quality of land ecological environment.
