Urbanization With Chinese Characteristics International Experience

Urbanization has been a research focus in the academic circles. To make thestrategical objective of constructing a well-off society come true, the contradictionbetween the dual structures of city and countryside must be resolved, and thedevelopment of city and countryside must be planned as a whole, forming areasonable system of urbanization development, transforming the pattern of economicdevelopment during the process of modernization of China.Since China’s reform and opening up, China’s urbanization process has beenmoving forward rapidly. The choice of theurbanization pattern must keep pace with the economy development, which isbeneficial to the framework of the urbanization and the distribution of the productivity.Urbanization and industrialization is indivisibility. The urbanization path withChinese character must insist on the mutual development of the industrialization andurbanization. Industrialization drives urbanization, urbanization promotes industrialization. Without adapting to urbanization, industrialization will be Lack ofmotivation; without highly industrialization, urbanization will lose its strong industrysupport.This research is based on the predecessor research results and consulted with theexperience and lessons of the urbanization abroad. The developmental process oftraditional urbanization is reviewed, making clear what is urbanization, what is thesituation of urbanization development in our country, should realize what kind of theurbanization, what is urbanization based on, how to realize the urbanization and putforward the relevant suggestions on the development of urbanization in our country inabsorbing foreign experience and lessons. The research aims at exploring a newdevelopment path of Chinese urbanization which is different with the tradition ideas,in accordance with the objective principals of urbanization and consistent with thenational situation of China, and helpful to enhance the developmental level andquality of Chinese urbanization.
