Research Of The Method Of Process Quality Management For Project Development In Small And Medium-size Software Enterprises

The quality of software products determined the development of software enterprises’survival and development. But the quality process management method is the key pointfor software products’ quality. All the time, the quality management, in softwaredevelopment process, is a focus subject in software area. Therefore, research on how tocontrol the software development process quality is very important for the products’quality, even so much as the whole area.This paper works on software development process control and quality managementmethod, combined with process management practice of mobile application developmentunder IOS and Android software operation system in my company. Its purpose is toexplore the general method of application development process control and qualitymanagement in small and medium software enterprises, thus solving challenge and keyissues during the evolutionary and development process. In addition, it providestheoretical and methodological guidance for software development process control andquality management.The paper first introduced the achievement and inadequacy of process qualitymanagement of software project development in software business, and purpose of thisdissertation. Meanwhile, based on the essential thought and principle of software processquality management, the writer introduces the theories of CMM and TSP/PSP andanalyzes the relation among them. Secondly, analyzing the quality management currentsituation and common problems in our small and medium software enterprises, this paperputs forward an improving direction and trend based on enterprises’ characteristic. Lastly,according to previous analysis, the writer proposes to address this through building a self-managed group and improving the software project process. Then this paper applied theself-managed group to practice. Finally, the feasibility and validity are analyzed by usingthe method of case analysis. According to the practical results of data analysis andcomparison, this paper analysis advantages and shortages of self-managed group andstandard CMMI’s implementation procedure.
