Evaluation Research Of Cultivated Land Investment Potentials In Oversea Countries

Under the background of ensuring global energy crisis, food crisis and financial crisis, food is regarded as industrial, financial and investment goods. Most countries perceive food security as an important content of national strategy and public policy. Under the background of the emergence, overseas cultivated land investment has gradually become the international political and economic new problems, as the biggest developing country in the world-China’s overseas cultivated land investment attracts attention of international society and related media, but the related research of overseas cultivated land investment in the host countries are less, so the evaluation research of cultivated land investment potentials in overseas countries is meaningful.The paper defines the connotation of cultivated land investment potentials in overseas countries. To evaluate investment potentials of each host country, this paper is based on the related theory and research, combine with the method of system analysis, and build a evaluation index system of investment potentials by4first grade index (agricultural basic condition, social basis, economy, technology and social efficiency) and16second grade index. Factor analysis indicate that the social basic conditions potential factor and investment environment potential factor are the key factor of cultivated land investment potentials in overseas countries, including nine index, such as medical and basic education index, rural improve water, the rural population percentage of total population, infrastructure index, grain yield and so on. Based on this,32host countries of overseas cultivated land investment are sorted into three categories by cluster analysis method:high potential area, middle potential area and low potential area. It gives a basis for china to invest in overseas cultivated land, and is significant to reduce investment risk.
