A Study About Promoting International Competitiveness Of The Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Hebei Province Based On Eurpean Technology Cooperation

The equipment manufacturing industry is very important for the economic development of acountry and occupies a pivotal important position in the national economy. And to exert the hugeimpetus function of the equipment manufacturing industry, the key is to improve the equipmentmanufacturing industry level. And an important way to achieve this goal is to carry outtechnological cooperation. Europe is the cradle of modern science and technology,and isimportant in the global economy and the science and technology development,and the level ofthe manufacturing industry in the world is the highest, so it is very necessary that Hebei Provincechooses the EU as partners, and establish the cooperation relations with it to promote thedevelopment of the equipment manufacturing industry.In recent years,the economy of Hebei Province develops in a rapid rate, but compared withother developed areas it still has very big disparity, therefore it has a great potential of economicdevelopment.Facing requirements of the economic development in Hebei, making the equipmentmanufacturing industry play fully the function of driving and supporting on economic andcarrying out scientific and technological cooperation have become an important way ofeconomic development of hebei.Under this background, the article uses the combining methodof quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to analyze the development situation of theequipment manufacturing industry of Hebei Province. Through the Statistical Yearboook of theprovincial economies geting relevant datas and then using the mothod of principal componentanalysis to compares the equipment manufacturing industry situiation of Hebei Province withnine important provinces(cities):Liaoning, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shanghai, Shandong, Hubei,Beijing, Chongqing,Hunan and then use RCA index to compare the competitiveness situation ofthe sub-industries of the equipment manufacturing industry. It finds that the special equipmentmanufacturing, general equipment manufacturing industry, transportation equipmentmanufacturing and electrical machinery and equipment manufactring grow by faster rate and their development potential is very big,this four industries have a lager contribution to theeconomy of Hebei Province.On this basis,this article analyzes the main technical requirements ofthe four industries of the equipment manufacturing in Hebei Provice, and analyzes the advancedtechnology and process of the four aspects in the EU, and finally puts forward thecountermeasures and suggestions of Hebei-EU to carry out technological cooperation.
