Empirical Research On The International Competitiveness Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Liaoning

Under the policy developing and revitalizing old and stagnant industrial bases innortheastern region of China in early 21 century, the equipment manufacturing industry ofLiaoning Province will be the focus of development of Liaoning Industry, particularly theresearch on Liaoning industry competition force. How to seize the international and domesticmarket and promote international competitiveness of Liaoning equipment manufacturingindustry has became one of to-be-resolved questions of Liaoning equipment manufacturingindustry currently. According to Porter Industry International Competitive Theory, thisdissertation forms international competitive analysis frame of based-on-trade equipmentmanufacturing industry by the closed relationship between Export-Import trade and industryinternational competitiveness. By analyzing and researching the theory elements betweentrade activity and industry international competitiveness, the dissertation establishesResult-oriental index estimating system of industry international competitiveness whichconsists of Export-Import item team index and margin item team index. During thedemonstration research, by established index estimating system, it does the count for theselected 11 indexes; by Quantitative Analysis and Comparative Analysis, it does actualestimation for Industry International Competitiveness of Liaoning equipment manufacturingindustry in accordance with WTO categories for equipment manufacturing industry. In manyaspects of Liaoning equipment manufacturing industry, such as Industrial Performance,Profit-Ability, International Market Competitiveness and Industry efficiency, the dissertationmakes the comparison with Guangdong, Shandong and Shanghai and total adjustment of theirInternational Competitiveness. Furthermore, makes the reasonable location for international competitive phase of Liaoning equipment manufacturingindustry.
