The Research Of International Competitiveness On High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industry

"Decision of the State Council on accelerating the cultivation and development of strategicemerging industries" issued in2010put the high-end equipment manufacturing industry asone of the seven strategic emerging industries. In2012the Ministry issued the "high-endequipment manufacturing industry" twelfth “five development plan". The Plan indicateskey directions of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry of this moment whichincludes aviation equipment, satellite and applications, rail transportation equipment,marine engineering equipment, intelligent manufacturing equipment. High-end equipmentmanufacturing industry is the high-end equipment manufacturing sectors, it’s the pillarindustry of the national economy and can determine our position in the internationalindustrial division. Therefore, the international competitiveness of China’s high-endequipment manufacturing comprehensive assessment and recommend rationalization has astrong theoretical and practical significance for the smooth transition of our economy andsustainable development.Firstly, the meaning of the equipment manufacturing industry and high-end equipmentmanufacturing are described, after which the paper comb theories of industrialcompetitiveness at home and abroad including competitive advantage theory, theory ofcompetitive efficiency and competitiveness of innovation theory. Competitivenessevaluation model includes diamond model, modified diamond model and nine elements ofthe model.
