Competitiveness Study On County Economic Of Anhui Province

"If county is governed, world will be peace." County is the most basic level and most basic cell of the political, economic, cultural and society, a country’s prosperity just depends on the basic administrative units,70percent of the population is distributed in the county, its GDP accounts for50%of total GDP, and the huge development potential and favorable policies of various countries bring vigor and power for the county’s economic development. County’s development and governance has become the foundation of a country’s governance.Anhui is an underdeveloped agricultural province, and its county’s economic level falls behind on the national level relatively. Anhui provincial government attaches high importance to the county’s economic development and has issued a number of measures for developing county economic. To conduct comprehensive evaluation of economic performance of county of Anhui Province make each county has an accurate understanding of economic development process of their own strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and provide scientific decision-making on how to give full play to our strengths, overcome weaknesses better, seize the opportunity in time and resolve the threats effectively. It has important theoretical and practical significance on promoting Anhui county economic development rationality, rapid and coordinated.To enhance the economic competitiveness of the county must first correct the county’s economic competitiveness assessment, drawing on previous research in this paper based on the results, this paper selected statistical indicators to build evaluation index system combining with the county economic development status of Anhui Province. We use the research methods which combined normative analysis and empirical analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to do classification evaluation and comprehensive evaluation on61counties of Anhui province.This paper analysis the factors of county economic competitiveness from seven sides based on defining the related concepts of county’s economic competitiveness according to the theory; Building a county’s economic competitiveness evaluation index system following the principles of designing statistical indicators; Using AHP and factor analysis to do classification evaluation and overall evaluation of the economic competitiveness of the county in Anhui Province:First, using the Delphi method and AHP to determine the weight of index of sub-criteria level; Then using factor analysis to calculate the scores and position list of61counties in Anhui province from bottom to top; At last, calculating the total scores and position list combining the weight of criteria layer, and analyzing the evaluation results from classification and overall sides; Proposing the policy proposals for enhancing the county’s economic competitiveness according to the strengths and weakness.
