With the rapid development of economic globalization, enterprise are facing increasingly fierce market competition, and employee’s work engagement has become one of the core competitiveness of enterprises. Academic research and management consulting analysis have found that work engagement could improve employees’ well-being during work and reduce employees’negative work behavior, therfore plays a important role in promoting performance. Organizational citizenship behavior is the spontaneous positive workplace behavior of employees, however, few studies have been carried out on the relationship between work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior.This paper firstly makes a review of the relevant theories and literatures of work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior, which lays a solid foundation for further study. Then, it studies the impact mechanism of work engagement on organizational citizenship behavior, constructs a theoretical model, and proposes related hypotheses. Finally, this paper forms a questionnaire, and then gets the revised questionnaire after preliminary test.This paper uses the method of questionnaire and statistical analysis. Through validity and reliability analysis, variance analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, this paper tests the questionnaire and verifies the research hypotheses. Results indicate that various background variables have different effects on work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior. Work engagement is positvely related to organizational citizenship behavior, especially with the dimension of identification with corporation, altruistic behavior and personal initiative. Organizational commitment has positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior, and plays a mediationg role between work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior.Finally, this paper makes some managerial recommendations. Enterprise managment could enhance employee’s organizational citizenship behavior by improving work engagement and organizational commitment.
