The service provider and the enterprise are the two core groups during the project of ERP implementation, and the implementation consultants and key users are the two major participating subjects, to achieve a successful knowledge transfer between them is the key to ensure the entire project to get the desired results. The implementation consults and key users have different knowledge which decides the different knowledge transfer. The purpose of this study is to explore the factors of influence in the process of ERP implementation, which can provide effective reference in the enterprise information construction process, for example, the choice of service providers, the choice of implementation consults, the choice of key users, the project cycle and capital budget which can make a best efforts.Based on the theory of ERP implementation impact factor and knowledge transfer, the paper builds the influencing factors model of knowledge transfer which includes five dimensions and forteen factor variables. Through on-site interviews and questionnaires, we collected153valid questionnaires from57ERP implemention projects, as well as made them pretreatment by using SPSS14.0.including analysis of sample characteristics, testing reliability and validity of measurement system. Then descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, analysis of variance, regression analysis were used to test the main effect and control effect hypothesis.Through empirical research and analysis, we draw the following conclusions:(1) The key factors affecting ERP knowledge transfer in ERP implementation project were confirmed. They are:the source of knowledge (implementation consultant)’s transfer willingness, encoding communication capacity and personality traits; the recipient of knowledge(key user)’s decoding communication capacity and transfer willingness; the transfer context’s the degree of attention of the leadership and learning atmosphere; the knowledge transfer mechanisms including formal transfer mechanisms and informal transfer mechanisms. (2) The empirical results show that the implementation consultant’s personality traits have a significant impact for the ERP knowledge transfer effects during the ERP implementation.(3) The empirical results show that the choice of the transfer mechanism in ERP implementation directly affect the project cycle and capital investment, and during the implementation project, we can get effective combination of transfer mechanisms to achieve the best results by spending the minimal input.
