Studies On The Aromatics Industry Chains Design And Strategy Of Donghai Island Chemical Industrial Park (DICIP)

The economy of the world shows declining tendency, however, the petrochemicalindustry is still in high development and has an unstoppable tendency. The status of ourcountry as “The factory of the world” which existed a long time must been changed. Thequestion of how to upgrade the industrial structure, how to reduce the stress of petrochemicalindustry on the environment and how to carry out the sustainable development has been thefirst issue to be considered.China-Kuwait refining integration project, which is invested and constructed by theSinopec Group and Kuwait oil company, located in Zhanjiang Donghai Island. Thedevelopment of Zhanjiang is still very backward, the industrial chain is short, and theindustrial structure and economic development is weak. The petrochemical park which wasestablished for the China-Kuwait refining integration project will greatly drive the upgradingof industrial structure in Zhanjiang and inject unprecedented vitality to the silence city.Obviously, the design of the industrial chain is the key factor of building thepetrochemical park. What conception should we need in the design of industry chain?Ecosystem industry tells all the organizers to consider the organization and construction of thepark as the idea of "nature ecology". In this paper, the conception of industrial agglomeration,recycling economy and ecological industrial park give us a good inspiration which connect tothe industrial chain. The concept of industrial clustering clarifies the formation process of theindustrial chain, this process occurs driven by the rise in interest. The concept of circulareconomy is the basic principle of the design of industrial chain. The concept of eco-industrialpark gives a clear guide to the design of industrial chain, formation of blueprint for thedevelopment of East Island Park.In these premises, the paper shows the step of construction of the industrial chain:(1)analysis the structure of products which made by the core enterprises in the park;(2)determine the project which the downstream enterprises can develop;(3) determine the scaleof the project;(4) formation of industrial chain diagram. In this paper, we take the aromaticsindustry chain for example, mainly analysis the market prospects of aromatics and describethe reaction scheme of the main products.
