Research On Circular Economy Industrial Cluster Development-with The Case Of Yangluo Economic & Technological Development Zone In Wuhan

Industry is the core and support of economic development. However, as social productivity improves and human needs change, the economic process doesn’t keep unchanged, which surely requires that industry be restructured with the social and economic development. In the current background of economic growth slowdown and industrial restructuring badly needed, this paper, with the case of the industrial structure as well as its adjustment and upgrading in Yangluo, Wuhan, has discussed the relationship between industrial restructuring and circular economy. By analyzing the industrial mode and its development manners and trend in Yangluo, this paper has systematically studied the industrial restructuring mechanism and methods under the circular economy framework and tried to provide the feasible reference plan for circular economy development and industrial structure upgrading inYangluo.This paper consists of the following parts. Part 1 is the Introduction. It discusses the topic selection background, theoretical significance and realistic value of this paper; it briefly introduces the research methods and major research content as well as framework of the paper. Part 2 is the Literature Review and Theoretical Foundation. First, the author has briefly introduced the related theoretical foundations for research of industrial structure and circular economy in this paper from the economic perspective, then induced and analyzed the current research progress and potential deficiency of related problems through the literature review, and thus proposed the major research content and direction of this paper. Part 3 is the Case Introduction. It systematically introduces the regional economy conditions and industrial development conditions of Yangluo Economic & Technological Development Zone from the aspects of its geological location and regional advantages, industrial layout and development conditions, economic orientation and environment, industrial policies and development targets, and so on. Part 4 is the Case Analysis. It describes the advantages, opportunities, potential deficiency, potential influencing factors, and so on of Yangluo Economic & Technological Development Zone in the industrial and regional economy development process, and analyzes reasons for formation of Yangluo’s industrial layout and structure and different influences on economic development, so as to provide the realistic foundation for the following analysis. Part 5 is the Conception and Suggestions for Development. By analyzing merits and demerits of Yangluo’s industrial structure, it discusses the industrial restructuring and future industrial layout conception as well as related realization means for Yangluo Economic & Technological Development Zone from the perspective of developing the circular economy and forming the complete and ecological industrial chain and system with the high economic added value. Part 6 is the closing words. It describes the research conclusion, potential deficiency and future research prospect for this paper.To sum up, to develop the circular economy, carry out industrial structure adjustment and upgrading with various scientific measures, and build & form the complete, supplemental and ecological-balance industrial chain with the high economic added value is the important means to promote sustainable development of Yangluo’s regional economy.
