With the acceleration of world economy integration and globalization, and the change of the supply and demand market, market competition is increasingly fierce, enterprise has to outsource businesses that it is not good at and focuses on developing its core competitiveness. Logistic service outsourcing is the most common and the most important one in outsourcing industry. The central competition of the21st century is the one within supply chain, an enterprise must imply the concept of supply chain management on managing its logistics service providers to realize the seamless link of logistics as a whole, to reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction. On the other hand, due to the particularity of hazardous chemical products, chemical enterprises need not only achieving safe production, but also strengthening their management on logistics service providers, to reduce and avoid various safety accidents.This essay using A group, which is a large comical company, as an example, illustrates the group’s needs on logistic services and how it managing its logistics service providers, and analyzes the problems existing in the management.
