| Investment attraction is the product of combined actions of social division of labor and market economy as an important means to provide funds and technologies demanded by market economy development. When dedicated to development by way of investment attraction, a great number of countries have achieved rapid development with advantages in technology, management, communication and human resources brought about by investment attraction, as well as constant capital input. As an important economic policy extensively promoted in China, investment attraction has affected all aspects in people’s economic and social life. In the meanwhile, investment attraction has also drawn high attention and concern in the academic circle as an important economic phenomenon. Nevertheless, investment attraction suffers from a lack of in-depth and systematic theoretical research and lagged development in addition to a want of comprehensive, extensive and in-depth survey and thinking in practice. As a result, investment attraction has also given rise to many problems besides the promotion in regional economic development. Some problems are serious and show commonalities. Therefore, when promoting the positive effects of investment attraction, it is also of research value and realistic significance to take the initiative avoiding operation risk and reducing its negative effects.Based on present studies on investment attraction theories, this paper outlines investment attraction fundamentals, summarizes classical experiential investment attraction practices, analyzes current conditions, problems and causes of investment attraction in Yingkou, and finally puts forward measures for investment attraction development. To start with, this paper gives a brief introduction on research background, objective and significance. At the same time, this paper classifies and summarizes related research findings on investment attraction, which lays the theoretical basis for investment attraction research. Then, the author determines research approach and content in line with existing problems and actual demands. Secondly, Typical of investment promotion and capital introduction are summarized, combined with a summary of domestic and foreign research findings on investment. Besides, it is followed by an extraction of practices with reference significance through success stories. Furthermore, this paper also makes a summary on investment attraction development history in Yingkou in view of economic and social progress as well as investment attraction development in recent years, together with an analysis on causes for investment attraction problems. Then, the feasibility and necessity to solve the existing problem of investment promotion and capital introduction of Yingkou are analyzed. On this basis, this paper has certain persuasive scheme comparison results with the combination of solutions to problems to the explore effect of preliminary practice. Finally, this paper concludes with measures and suggestions for the purpose of further development in Yingkou’s investment attraction in view of perfection of working mechanism, integration of land resources, introduction of high-end talent, building of industry clusters, and transformation in investment attraction mode, modification of relevant policies as well as strengthened environmental construction. |
