Since the reform and opening up for more than thirty years, modem enterprise system has taking root in our country and got fast development. Of these, the role of human resources management is particularly important. Enterprises pay more and more attention to the employee’s job satisfaction and make great efforts to improve the status of employees in enterprise management during the actual operation of the company. For an oil company, the brilliant of the enterprise was created by thousands of oil workers. They made great contribution to the enterprise and our country’s economy development. The discretion of the petroleum enterprise employee satisfaction affects the staffs working enthusiasm and creativity and also affects the oil enterprise’s profit level and even the rise and fall of an enterprise directly. Although the oil industry has been regarded as a monopoly industry, from the point of the development of China’s oil industry in recent years, the current market competition pattern has been formed and emerging oil companies sprang up across the country. The competition between oil enterprises is increasingly fierce, of which talent is the important aspect. It has been proved by practice that only satisfied employees will become a productive employee and can effectively promote the sustainable development of enterprises. Thus, during the process of enterprise’s development in the future, whether the employees can involve in the day-to-day operations of the enterprise directly and whether they are satisfied is an important topic the enterprise must solve if they want to obtain long-term development in the future.This article conducts a survey about the XN company employee satisfaction and systematically researches the concept, theory basis, structure and affecting factors of employee satisfaction and the investigation method and measuring tools. It carries on an questionnaire about the employee satisfaction and take likert scale and SPSS software multi-angle and comprehensively analyzes the relation among the staff satisfaction, the employee’s personal variables and the satisfaction dimensions such as leadership behavior, management measures, work rewards, group cooperation, work motivation, work environment and work intrinsic characteristics. It reveals the XN company employee satisfaction present situation and existing problems and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for improving XN company employee satisfaction.
