Things Construct Based Food Logistics Platform

At present, food logistics of our country has a lot of problems, such as, lack of infrastructure, low resource utilization and degree of information, difficulty of information sharing and real-time monitoring, and high rate of the food cargo damage and the predicted risk, which resulting in huge insufficiencies between food logistics’supply and demand capacity and effectively guarantees of food quality. Thus, Looking for new information technology to reconstruct food logistics platform has become the top priority of the development of food logistics.As an emerging information technology, internet of Things could achieve interactive information sharing and real-time monitoring of things, which is popular with enterprises. If Internet of Things could be successfully applied to the construction of food logistics platform, it will provide the most effective techniques and methods to solve the problems existing in the current food logistics platform.To solve this problem, based on the analysis of the Internet of Things at home and abroad and food logistics research, this paper elaborates the characteristics, working principle, key technology and three-tier architecture of the Internet of Things. Then, according to the characteristics and requirements of food logistics, this paper summarizes the difficulties faced by the food logistics and logistics platform, points out the problems of the current food logistics platform. Finally, combine with the advantages of the Internet of Things demonstrates the need to build food logistics platform based on the Internet of Things. On the basis of the analysis of the main features of the platform, this paper indicates the food logistics overall platform architecture model based on three-tier architecture of the Internet of Things, and highlights the subjects of food logistics and the build of food logistics links. Then, this paper describes the changes to "four flows" of food by this platform from the perspective of the overall role, and gives some suggestions in the implementation process about this platform. By the overall architecture of the food logistics based on the Internet of Things, this paper expects to provide an idea for food industry on the build of food logistics, to provide a reference for other similar industry on information construction and management optimization.
