In recent years, the bank insurance agency business, as a mixed managementmodel, has spread anywhere. The financial integration is also in a rapidly growing allover the world. The sales and marketing environment of the bank insurance businessis silently changing. At present, the cooperation between the commercial banks andthe insurance companies is continuously strengthen. For one, the commercial bankscan provide customers with the insurance services; for another, the insurancecompanies can also get more customers by bank branches. But with the more andmore media negative reports, we also see something in the cooperation between theinsurance companies and the banks. The model of the bank insurance agencebusiness, which can take the advantages and disadvantages or win-win cooperation.This is worth a deep studying and researching.This article will take the postal savings bank in Huaihua as the research subject,and study the sales strategy of the insurance agency business in this bank. There arefour parts of the whole text: the first part, we will talk about the origin of the bankinsurance agent and state the background of the development of the bank insurance,from the rise of the abroad to development in our country in1996, and thecooperation and development of the insurance companies and the postal savingsbank; Second part, we will study and analysis the insurance business in postalsavings bank, which including the current situation and problems. There are fouraspects of problems, one is the inequality of the insurance company in the bankbranches, the second is the different concept between the insurance salesmen andbank sales staff,the third is the drawbacks in the bank insurance sale process, thefour is the flaw of the bank insurance regulation. The third part, we will make aoptimization of the sales strategy on the bank insurance business in postal savingsbank, based on the ideas, principles, goal and process, in order to promote the deeperdevelopment of the bank insurance agency business. The fourth part, we will take thesix aspects of measures to ensure the realization and the effect of the optimization.At present, with the optimization, the development of Huaihua postal savingsbank will be improved. It is not only good for postal savings bank’s development inthe future, but also provides some useful experiences and references for the otherbank agency of insurance business.For the future, I think to improve the othercommercial banks on the development in the following aspects: to strengthen the bank and insurance companies’s supervision, to strengthen the information disclosure,to improve the relevant laws and regulations, to expand the bank cooperation, topromote the bank insurance product innovation and to focus on the professinaltraining and accelerate the construction of informationization. In the bank agency ofinsurance business, we need more careful analyses of current situation of the banksinternal and external environmental factors to make the most suitable bank’sdevelopment strategy. For Huaihua postal savings bank, there still has many defectsin themselves, at the same time, there is an external competition increasing, whichleads to the risk of falling in the market share. According to these threats, we can seethat the management of the postal saving bank needs to be improved.This paper studies the sales strategy of the postal savings bank in Huaihua. Theaim is to help the postal savings bank in bank agency insurance business to gain abetter development. At the same time, it gives a certain reference to the other banks.
