Research On Industrial Agglomeration Degree Measuring And The Efficience Of Shanghai Fashion Industry

During the recent years, the worldwide fashion industry has been very flourishing, and then has become one of the most important industries which lead the world’s businesses trend. The development and agglomeration of the fashion industry, have become an important economic and social activities of international metropolis, their influences are rising. Such as Paris, Milan, Tokyo and other international fashion capitals, the radial power and influence of the fashion industry even across the region, beyond the region and the national level. Developing the fashion industry, Promote and facilitate the fashion industry cluster, not only can enhance city status in the world of fashion and cultural fields, and also can effectively promote the transformation of the city’s economic development and achieve to a service economy.Shanghai as China’s highest level of economic development of the large cities, is committed to building and creating "An International Fashion Capital," and also is facing the reality that will focus on the development of the transformation of economic development and mode shift to new industries. Fashion industry provide a tangible economic value for innovation and creative industries and can help Shanghai to maximize the advantages of integrated research, branding, talent, precision manufacturing, deployment and play better urban resources, changing mode of the traditional industries’labor intensive ", and further enhance the industry level. Therefore, concerning the development of Shanghai’s fashion industry, researching the gathering of Shanghai fashion industry, has some practical significance for the future promote their development and agglomeration.Therefore, this paper will take Shanghai’s fashion industry as example, on the basis of summarized domestic and foreign results, to study fashion industry with application of industrial agglomeration theory. First choose appropriate measurement of industrial agglomeration, then try to define the concept and industrial classification of the fashion industry. On this basis, select the appropriate samples,using the EG index and Location quotient, to measure agglomeration degree of Shanghai’s fashion industry. The results show that concentration degree of Shanghai fashion industry showed a steady increase over the past decade the state in the selected sample, and also in line with the national trend in the fashion industry as a whole agglomeration situation. This paper also discusses the relationship between the industry and the regional economic’growth, The selected sample was found to varying degrees in different sectors to promote regional economic growth, in the future to promote the development and policy formulation, and can be divided into sectors to promote its development. Based on these findings,make a summary analysis of the fashion industry in the future development of Shanghai and gathering areas, level, direction, and personnel training, suggestions, hoping to help the government and enterprises to take active measures to develop appropriate policies, adjusting the industrial structure, put the development of the fashion industry in an important strategic position.
