Energy Industry is one of eight large industries in Shaanxi, but because of its traditionaldevelopment mode, Energy Industry has become one of the most important sources ofShaanxi’s carbon emissions. Base oil the learning from researches at home and abroad, thispaper uses the emission coeiffcient method to estimate the carbon emissions of EnergyIndustry in Shaanxi. At the same time, this paper analyses the interaction of the EnergyIndustry’s economic growth, energy consumption and carbon emissions, combining withstatus of Energy Industry and its energy consumption in Shaanxi, On this basis, this paperdecomposes carbon emission factors rfom industry level with the LMDI method, andquantifies the impact of vairous factors on carbon emissions.The results show that carbon emissions of Shaanxi’s Energy Industry is in the generalupward trend, industiral scale and energy intensity have the greatest impact on carbonemissions, the adjustment of industiral structure increases carbon emissions, energy mixreduces the carbon emissions. Finally, according to the results of carbon emission factordecomposition, the paper gives some recommendations of low-carbon development path ofShaanxi’s Energy Industry. To promote low-carbon consumption, the recommendationsmainly include speeding up the construction of the relevant system, adjusting the industiralstructure, improve energy eiffciency.
