Specialized Farmers Cooperatives, which emerged as a new force in the development of modern agriculture, have been a very important significance for it and also have played a critical role in this development especially on agricultural science and technology service. However, through visiting and investigating this fact personally, the author found that Specialized Farmers Cooperatives, which involved in agricultural science and technology service, still faced with many problems, for instance, the influenced content and field of this service is limited; the level is low and service model single and so on.These problems were caused by traditional reasons, but also by the bound of the domestic agricultural development system, that is, lack of government efforts to support, the short of service capabilities, and the unactive participation of members in Cooperatives, etc..The author supposes that government and the Specialized Farmers Cooperatives should take more actions in order to develop the functions of agricultural science and technology service of Specialized Farmers Cooperatives completely through the studies of many theories and cases. First the government should strengthen the policy support for Cooperatives. On the other hand, Cooperatives should build the capacity of agricultural science and technology services, which should attract more talented people. Specifically, create a new service model, establish a new system with the Cooperatives as an intermediary to develop the agricultural science and technology, design key projects to promote agricultural science and technology service model, and build exemplary cooperatives with agricultural science and technology service.
