The Impact Of Outbound Open Innovation On Innovation Performance

As science and technology, knowledge sharing and development of information industry, business organizations and more frequent exchanges between, no one can say that is not completely closed communication with the outside of the enterprise. This raises the concept of open innovation (Chesbrough), will organize the exchange and communication between the meaning of a more systematic study.Open innovation scholars such as Chesbrough, knowledge and technology under the direction of flow, the atmosphere of open innovation within the open innovation (inbound) and out bounded in the open innovation (outbound). Introverted open innovation is more focused on access to information from outside the organization, technical knowledge for internal use, into a company’s internal competitiveness, which is currently the main direction of research scholars at home and abroad. And another aspect of open innovation that is outbound in the open innovation, domestic and foreign scholars also rarely involved, which is mainly focused on proactive knowledge within the enterprise, patents, technology and other proactive released to the outside of the organization. The second is also in order to obtain the corresponding rewards from other companies to do the groundwork. However, outbound in the open innovation is able to bring benefits for the enterprise, improve performance, but also there is a dispute, which is the focus of this study. So the article through the literature reviews the empirical analysis of this controversial discussion and outlook.As for open innovation in knowledge flows, it involves organizational learning. According to March (1991) proposed the dual learning, organizational learning will be classified as exploratory and exploitative learning to learn, and its balances for related discussion. Which is mainly exploratory learning only on existing knowledge in the field of learning technology, mining learning mainly refers to the new and unknown areas of IT development and learning.
