At present, China’s economy has entered a critical period-building a moderately prosperous society and accelerating the transformation of economic growth to adjust the industrial structure of the critical period, In today’s competitive world of economic, China’s economic sustainability, rapid and healthy development, related to the improvement of living standards of our people and the state’s overall national strength, the status in the world and the right to speak. As China’s economic development, the main contradictions have become increasingly prominently, the industrial structure and employment structure coordination is to one of the notably issues."Twelve Five Year Plan" made it clear that China’s industrial structure is irrational, both employment pressure and the structural contradictions exist, economic structure and employment structure is the main goal to promote China’s economy increasing rapidly and healthy of the next five years. Irrational employment structure is bound to affect China’s industrial structure adjustment and optimization, and in turn hinder the irrational industrial structure of China’s economic development to a higher level. As China’s employment structure lagged behind the industrial structure currently, labor supply does not meet the needs of industrial restructuring, which will affect China’s industrial structure and industrial structure adjustment adversely and the country’s economic development. Promoting industrial restructuring is imperative, how the process of implementation of policies and measures to achieve the industrial structure and employment structure optimization of industrial structure and to solve the employment problem is particularly important problems to be solved.Economic growth and employment are interacting, industrial development is the core of economic development, and economic growth is the performance of various industries, employment is reflected in the employment structure. With economic development, a large number of factors of production will flow from primary products sector to the industry sector, and then flows to the service sector, so that the productivity can meet the basic balance between states. And industrial structure is very similar to the structure of, employment is also showing a steady decline in the proportion of primary industry employment,and so do the secondary and tertiary industry. It should be noted that the level of economic development have an strong impact on the coastal economy layout. According to Zhejiang Local annual statistical, it shows that in2011, annual regional GDP is3.231885trillion RMB, an increase of16.6%over the previous year. The first industrial added value of22.247billion RMB, an increase of16.4%over last year; second industry added value of225.765billion RMB, an increase15.8%over the previous year; tertiary industry added value of211.641billion RMB, compared with the previous year growth of17.5%.The city employment3,674.11million, of which employment in primary industry535.27million at the end of the year,1.43percent less than last year; secondary industry employment is1,868.83million, an increase of1.07%: tertiary industry employment of1,270.01million, an increase of0.36%over the last year. The proportion of Primary industry, secondary industry and tertiary industry were14.57%,50.86%,34.57%.According to the analysis, Zhejiang industrial structure and employment structure is along with the general law of development of the industrial structure and employment structure, but there are still some gaps, employment structure lags behind the industrial structure. Studying the relationship between industrial structure and employment structure evolution is significant, you can learn the evolution of relations between the two, find restructuring and employment structure mutual evolution of the law, in order to provide reference propositions.In this paper, labor economics and industrial economics are used, research and related theories are reviewed, based on the study of Zhejiang Province as the geographical and time, range1980to2011as the data, empirical analysis are also used to described Zhejiang industrial structure and employment structure and the evolution of the relationship between the two.This paper is divided into six parts.Part I:Theory Review, this part is to sort out the existing research results, weaknesses. The research literature provides a solid theoretical foundation and reliable guidance method for the present.Part II:Analysis current situation about Zhejiang industrial structure and employment structure, this part mainly on the industrial structure and employment structure of the basic introduction, prepare for the subsequent empirical analysis.Part III:Zhejiang industrial structure evolution trend analysis, The correlation between industry structure and employment structure shows that Zhejiang industrial structure and employment structure correlations exist, correlation can be made by changing one variable to another variable to adjust the relationship. This is the first level.Part IV:The second level analysis, trend analysis of Zhejiang employment structure evolution. Using labor productivity, employment flexibility, expansion flexibility, structural indicators to study the degree of Zhejiang’s industrial structure and employment structure problems, finely find out the law of development.Innovation of this paper;1, Innovative approaches, we use statistical analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods, compared with the existing research model, which is a new breakthrough.2, In this paper, empirical studies are carried out, use of labor productivity, employment flexibility and expansion flexibility, structural deviation tools to analyze Zhejiang’s industrial structure and employment structure coordination quantitatively.Inadequate;As my research capabilities and knowledge and time limited, the paper on the regional leading industries and the future impact of industrial upgrading Zhejiang problem is almost not involved, I hope future learning and research needs to be further improved.
