The Influence Of Strategic Flexibility On Technological Innovation Capability Of High-tech Enterprises

With the economic globalization and dynamic environment, the available ofstrategy is becoming sharply compressed. The target of enterprise’ strategy is how tohold their advantage. High-tech enterprises which with knowledge-intensive andcapital-intensive are the key factors affecting the world scientific and technologicalcompetitiveness. High-tech enterprises have become an important economic growthpoint of the modern state. And the economic development of the country isdetermined by them. Theory and practices generally believe that the strategicflexibility of the enterprise is a kind of abilities can timely adjust to environmentalchanges and respond quickly. Therefore, from the perspective of strategic flexibility,we can study mechanisms to improve technological innovation ability.On the basis of theoretical studies about strategic flexibility, strategic flexibilityis divided into four dimensions. And build a model for technological innovationcapability. Then, described and summarized the development and technical innovationcapability of high-tech industries in Jiangsu province. The fact is they need improvethe technological innovation capability. This provides practical significance for thestudy of relationship between the strategic flexibility and technological innovationcapability. Also, test the hypothesis through the survey. Strategic flexibility is composed of resource flexibility,technology flexible, organizational flexibility and cultural flexible. The four have apositive impact on the technological innovation capability of high-tech enterprises.Finally, this paper presents an access to improve the strategic flexibility. First,enhance the flexibility based on the changes in the environment. Companies need toidentify the uncertainties, so as to establish the strategic flexibility match with thecorporate. Then, from the introduction of the adaptability of resources, technologyand absorption, the transformation of the organizational structure, the innovativecorporate culture, and a multi-dimensional strategy flexible system to explore ways toenhance the strategic flexibility.
