The paper reviews the present situation of the development of pear industry in Hebeiin recent years, and based on the theoretical research both in China and abroad, takes the pear production, procession, consumption and trade status as the analyzing basis,summarizes the problems of the sustainable development of pear industry in Hebeiprovince, get the conclusion that the main problems of the industry is with low productioncapacity and unreasonable regional layout, the slowly development of agriculturalprofessional organization and standardized production progress, the low level ofprocessing and scarce storage capacity, decentralized operation and lack of combinedpower in marketing, lack of export capacity and international competitiveness. The paper,combined with the actual situations of the pear industry in Hebei province, mainly getsin-depth analysis of the impacts on the development of the pear industry in Hebei Provincefrom the four aspects, which includes the natural factors, the economic factors, the industrymanagement and the policy factors, proposes the countermeasures and advices to promotethe sustainable development of the pear industry in Hebei province.
