Based on the official documents as the object of study, using theanalysis method of speech act theory, combining the characteristics of officialdocument itself, we studied preliminarily the directive speech acts in the document.the directive speech acts in the document: governmental agencies anddepartments in the administrative and official activities, in accordance with legalprocedures, use written language to another governmental agencies to do somethingin the future or not to do something.This paper focuses on the classification, constitutive rules, regulatory rules andthe factors influencing successful implementation of directive speech acts. Thedirective speech acts in official documents are divided into: command/ban, advice,request, allow, hope5categories. Based on the discourse analysis of officialdocuments and official document processing, we found that the directive speechacts in the official documents are different from general directive speech acts inrules. For example, behavior subjects of the document are not natural persons, butstatutory authorities, organizations and their responsible persons. Again, The maximof manner is very straightforward, refused to euphemism. This paper put thedocuments in the form of rules summarized as essential rules, reservation rules,rules of the main, rules of carrier. Regulative rules can be summarized as quality,attitudes, quantity, relation and manner. Finally, this paper analyzed the directivespeech acts from the four aspects of words、sentences、relations of power and legaleffect of the official documents to factors influencing successful implementation.
