The Research On Working Capital Management Of Better Life Chain Retail Enterprises

During twenty years，chain retail model rapidly developed in China, has showngreat vitality and development potential. Chain retail enterprises in China have maderemarkable achievements with china’s economic rapid development. With China’saccession to the WTO, foreign retail chain enterprises have entered the Chinesemarket, increasingly fierce competition between domestic retail chain enterprises.Therefore, we must strengthen the management of the retail chain enterprises,especially financial management, financial management is the core of enterprisemanagement, working capital management is the focus of financial management,closely related with the ordinary course of business, Good working capitalmanagement is the basis of the survival and development.Threrfore, the study of themanagement of the working capital in Chinese retail chain enterprises has importanttheoretical and practical significance.This paper mainly studies the Better Life chain retail enterprises in HunanProvince. Directed by the modem theories of financial management, combined withthe status of working capital management in typical retailing enterprises both in andabroad, this paper systematically analyses the present status and problems of workingcapital in Better Life chain retail enterprises. In the beginning，we have a briefing andretrospection of working capital theory and policy, and then explain why there is anadvancement of working capital level in many companies at present. Secondly, theauthor comprehensively analyses the working capital management of the better lifechain retail enterprises, At the same time, comparisons are made with the typicalchain retail enterprise in and abroad, And then, this paper clarifies the problems ofworking capital management in the better life chain retail enterprises, gives someadvice on how to improve the level of working capital management. At the end ofpaper, the author points out the limitations of the studying and the future studyingdirections in this area.
