The Analysis Of Port-related Industrial Clustering Effect Of The Coastal Economic Belt In Liaoning

Because of the special geographical location and the regional advantage which Liaoninghas, this paper used the theory related with the industrial clustering effect to analysis theport-related industrial clustering effect of the coastal economic belt in Liaoning. It hasimportant realistic significance for enhancing the regional industrial competitiveness, gettingthe development of regional economic and upgrading of the regional industrial structure.This paper combined of quantitative and qualitative, used methods of comparative toanalysis this issue. Combining the theories of specialization, externalities, embeddedness,industrial chain, growth pole and competitive advantage with industry cluster, it analyzed theformation mechanism and conditions of port-related industrial clustering effect. At first,calculated the used the port-related industrial clustering degree of the coastal economic belt inLiaoning with the location quotient model, the result is that the industrial clusteringconditions of fishery and port shipbuilding industry were a little better, the marine saltindustry and port communication and transportation industry had beginning to gather to thecoastal economic belt in Liaoning, offshore oil and gas industry was not well, other industriesare still developing. This paper still compared the port-related industrial clustering degree ofLiaoning with Tianjin and Shandong. The result is that the development of Shandong isbalance, and the development of Liaoning and Tianjin is well, but still needs to be adjusted.Then used the CES model calculate and analysis the port-related industrial clusteringeffect. The results were that the port-related industrial clustering effect of the coastaleconomic belt in Liaoning were developing well, but not stable, and it affected the elevationof the port-related industrial clustering effect. Through the analysis, we know that theclustering effect of port-related industry is mainly reflected in four aspects which are industryvalue chain effect, amplification and technology spillover effect.
