The research on career success has come to an agreement, the empirical aspect also has achieved fruitful research results. including its definition, dimensions, and the impact on outcome variable. But the domestic research on mentoring relationship is still in the blank. Scholars have pointed out that mentoring relationship contribute to cultural inheritance, knowledge transmission and personal skills development. It also has a positive relationship to personal career development and organizational commitment. In recent years, some domestic enterprises such as huawei, TCL has introduced the mentoring relationship to improve staff career management and training, Therefore, the study of mentoring relationship in the Chinese companies is meaningful.On the basis of the above problems, We need to conduct new research because the ways Chinese view their organization, and some of the behavior motivation, may exist subtle differences compare with the west. So some very interesting question have produced:Whether the dimensions of mentoring relationship in west is applicable in China?What kinds of path relationship exits between mentoring relationship and career success?Is proactive personallty has moderate effect in the process?This paper is to conduct research on some behavior concept with China characteristic, which means to analyze the relationship between mentoring relationship and career success using the regression model in order to bring new perspective into traditional behavioral variables.Firstly, give a briefly reviews of the mentoring relationship, proactive personallty and Career success basing on literature. Finding that there are more and more scholars, paying attention to the research on the impact on outcome variable of the mentoring relationship.Meanwhile, few scholars has measured mentoring relationship with scale of chinese characteristic, and the influence of personal characteristics to mentoring relationship.Besides, though foreign scholars has pay attention to the concept of proactive personality, there is few relevant literature review in China.Secondly, give a brief review of the related literature, basing on which propose research hypotheses.Thirdly, conduct questionnaires through social network, and get112valid response.And then, conducting statistical data concerning principal component analysis, reliability analysis, stepwise regression analysis, path analysis using SPSS and LISREL.Based on the analysis above, this paper come to conclusions:1、There is positive correlation exist between mentoring relationship and career success; There is positive correlation exist between career support and subjective career success; There is positive correlation exist between psychosocial support and subjective career success; There is positive correlation exist between career support and objective career success; There is positive correlation exist between role modeling and objective career success.2, The proactive personality play a moderate role between career support and subjective career success; The proactive personality play a moderate role between psychosocial support and subjective career success.3、The proactive personality play a moderate role between role modeling and objective career success.4、Age, kinds of corporation and education background show great influence to the concepts research.At last, give some management proposal basing on the conclusion above, hoping to trigger more research on the mentoring relationship under Chinese context.
