In the background of the development of economic globalization, the international division of labor makes change significantly. More and more multinational companies are becoming emerging powers as world leaders in the field of economy. Chinese enterprises are actively exploring the international development road. The launching of transnational business becomes the new challenges for the enterprises. However, due to the late start of the internationalization of Chinese enterprises, there is a certain gap between the multinational companies in developed countries and developing countries. in the point of global value chain, the enterprises in developed countries get Higher profit, however, Chinese enterprises often get little profit, and how to find a suitable way for the international development of Chinese enterprises is a serious challenges for our enterprise. On the basis of analyzing literature, two important factors are summarized: technical capacity and market capacity. On this basis, the paper constructed the theoretical framework of the two-dimensional angle to explain the enterprise international path. The paper summarizes three international paths:leapfrog path, the gradual internationalization path based on the technical capabilities, and the gradual internationalization path based on market expansion ability. Next, the article uses two typical enterprises, Huawei and Samsung as the case. The article makes analysis of the difference between Samsung and Huawei from the perspective of the value chain. in the upstream of global value chain, Samsung and Huawei are devoting to the evolution from low-end part of the value chain to the high value-added sectors, however, in the downstream part of the value chain, Huawei is still rising from low value-added sectors of the value chain to higher value-added sectors, while Samsung is varying from the high value-added sectors to the low-end sector. Then, the paper analyzes the reasons for the differences in the two paths of Huawei and Samsung. The different strategic transformation leads to different paths.Chinese enterprises could draw a lot from the contrast of Huawei and Samsung’s international path. Though Chinese enterprises are still in the low-end link of the value chain, Chinese enterprises should actively join the global value chain. In addition, Chinese enterprises should pay attention to carry out suitable international strategy, devote to the improvement of the technical capacity and the expansion of the global market. What is more, entrepreneurs need mental models toward the high-end segments of the value chain. Although there are many problems and challenges encountered by the Chinese enterprises in the international path, but we should actively participate in the global value chain to achieve high value-added sectors.
