Research On Population Of Rural-urban Migration Models And Their Effects On Rural Transformation:the Analysis From Sichuan Province

With the accelerated process of globalization, China’s economy has undergone a rapid development, but it also led to a continuous improvement of China’s rural labor productivity, resulting in a large number of the rural labor which originally in the state of hidden unemployment gradually externalization. Continued modernization and industrialization of urban areas continually attract surplus rural labors transfer toward the urban areas, the rural-urban population migration activities become more and more frequent. In recent years, a large number of rural surplus labor transfer to the cities with the rural-urban population migration. On the one hand, the large amount of labor from rural area meet the increasing demands for labors in urban areas due to increasing economics and industrial development, and promote the development of the urban industrial and service industries. On the other hand, it is a way out for the increasing surplus labors in rural areas, which is because of labor productivity, and improves the structure of the rural labor force, promoting the development of the rural economy. The result shows that the rural-urban migrations not only promote the urbanization process, but also have a far-reaching impact of the restructuring and development of the rural areas.The study use Sichuan Province as the research object, the population migration patterns and population of rural-urban migration characteristics as well as the reasons for rural-urban migration in Sichuan is lucubrated. Then, the study pay much attention to the change of the social structure of the rural areas and the transformation of economics in rural areas of Sichuan Province in recent years in order to find out the impact on rural transformation leading by population of rural-urban migration. I hope to reflect the current situation of rural area in Sichuan Province through this study. And help the government to have more clear understand the difficulties and the crisis in rural so that they causing the attention of the government. And I also hope that the research can provide some realistic basis for the government to develop rural policy.
