Research On Current Situation And Development Countermeasures Of Modern Logistics Industry In Jilin Province

The logistics industry is an important emerging industry in national economy. Itruns through all aspects of commodity production, circulation and consumption,crosses various industries. It is a measure of the modernization level andcomprehensive strength of a country and region. It has the characteristics of involvingbroad areas, absorbing more employment, promoting the production and consumption,etc. Jilin Province is an important part of the northeast old industrial base. Vigorouslydeveloping modern logistics industry in Jilin Province has an important role intransforming development mode, optimizing industrial structure, expanding openingup and enhancing regional competitiveness.But currently, the level of development of the logistics industry in Jilin Provinceis still relatively backward. Problems of inadequate logistics infrastructure, unevendevelopment of regional logistics, low information technology levelandlogisticsefficiency, lack of logistics professionals, unwell market environment are still existed.The standstill of the logistics industry has become the bottleneck of economicrevitalization of Jilin province. The top priority is finding out the crux of the logisticsindustry in development, analyzing the causes, searching strategic measures, topromote development of logistics industry and inject vitalityto the province’seconomic development.This paper, through social surveys getting a lot of first-hand data,firstly, usedmethods of literature research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, empirical analysisand normative analysis to introduce the development context and basic theory ofmodern logisticsand look for experience and draw lessons fromthe history and presentsituation of domestic and international logistics industry. Secondly this paperanalyzed the basic situation of the modern logistics industry in Jilin province and findout the existing problems and opportunities and challenges in the future. Thirdly, usedsupport vector machine (SVM) to objectively forecast the demand of logistics inJilin province.Finally, according to the result of demand forecasting, this paper puttedforward the strategic target, overall layout planning and countermeasures andsuggestions for development of modern logistics industry inJilin province, in order toprovide theory reference and basisfor the revitalization of modern logistics industry inJilin province.
