As society develops, people are gradually realizing that people should be an important resource for the development of all types of organizations. Therefore, how to better stimulate members’potential in order to promote the development of the organization, and eventually achieve a win-win between organization and employees, is now becoming an important issue in current human resource management studies. This dissertation selects the employees in HZ Electric Power Company as the research object and carries out a systematic analysis and research on their career management.This dissertation utilizes advanced career management theories as a guide, conducts both theoretical researches and empirical researches as a combination. Questionnaires will be designed and the current situation of HZ Electric Power Company employee career management will be analyzed to summarize opportunities and challenges. It aims to establish a scientific and practical approach and a rational system on HZ Electric Power Company career management by five core steps:laying career pathâ†'building a competency modelâ†'level certificationâ†'capacity developmentâ†'achieving development goals. As a result, a platform will be built to enable employees combine their own career goals, expertise, potentials with the company’s strategic objectives and ultimately achieve a win-win between employees and the organization. Finally, on the basis of theoretical study and actual work experience of HZ power company employees’, an applied research will be carried out in order to conduct a preliminary proven on career management system.On one hand, it aims to provide theoretical and practical advising for HZ electric power company on career management through this research. On the other hand, there is a vital practical significance in possessing employees with high sense of responsibility and loyalty, stabilizing the workforce and improve the quality and efficiency of work. Furthermore, regardless of the power enterprises or other similar state-owned enterprises, it has referential significance both on theoretical level and practice level.
