Research On The Social Responsibility Of Yangjiang Tobacco Monopoly Bureau

In recent years, research on corporate social responsibility has been paid more attentionand has been given more importance in academic circles, but the research on corporate socialresponsibility in China is still at an initial stage. Especially for tobacco industry where wehave controversial opinion on the products,and the studies of social responsibility is very rare.On one hand the tobacco industry shoulder the country’s specific mission,is an importantpillar of the national economy, on the other hand,the side effects on health of cigaretteproducts results in growing of negative tobacco control appeal. We can say that whetherenterprise can properly fulfill its corporate social responsibility or not is vital to the survivalof China’s tobacco industry.Object of this paper-Yangjiang tobacco company, is the best common sample of manytobacco companies in China. Research on Yangjiang tobacco’s social responsibility can trulyreflect the social responsibility of the tobacco industry ’s current situation and problemsh is ofimportant practical significance to promote tobacco industry to better fulfill their socialresponsibilities.Firstly, this paper is combing the relevant information of research on CSR issues inChina and western countries. On the basis of having a clear grasp of the developmentprocess,it explains the theoretical basis of corporate social responsibility and tries to definethe social responsibility of the content of state-owned enterprises. Then through a survey onsocial people’s understanding and expectations on the tobacco industry of socialresponsibility, together with the actual situation in Yangjiang tobacco to describe the currentsituation of social responsibility tobacco in China, to identify problems, and to analyze thecauses of the problem. Finally, learn from the successful experience of foreign tobaccocompanies, and on the basis of the above study to enhance the social responsibility of thetobacco industry, it proposed many measures.With the good wishes of help the tobacco industry to establish a sound socialresponsibility system, and promote the industry sustained and healthy development, as wellas provide a reference for state-owned enterprises to fulfill their social responsibility, thisarticle aims to play an active role in building a socialist harmonious society.
