Nowadays, the severe power supply situation determines the safe and reliable operationof power grids, as well as the distribution of the load of fair, just, open and scheduling ofhigher requirements, The consequence is the high standard of management and service. Thereis a survey from Yeap, suggested that about20%of the electric power industry employees thattheir job burnout condition is serious. Electric power industry is important basic industry innational economy, people’s livelihood and public utilities. It is also an important part of thenational economy and the center of the energy industry, the safety in production is the key ofthe power industry. The staff’s physical and mental conditions can directly affect the safety ofthe production and productivity. This study aimed to explore the mechanism between jobburnout and internal psychological characteristics, that is, emotional intelligence and copingstyles, so as to provide targeted advice and theoretical basis for decreasing job burnout,enhancing enterprise recruitment and enriching employee assistance programs. With themethod of questionnaire survey, this study contains228Power Employees of Hebei province.This gets the following results:First, the emotional intelligence level of the power plant workers is moderate andincluding the highest scores of self-awareness; There are significant differences of differentacademics in the emotion using; Emotion assessing by others and emotion using in differentworking lives exist great difference. To respond to different dimensions such as gender, age,working years, coping styles does not exist significant differences, various dimensions of thejob burn out, different years of working in the gender, emotional exhaustion of differentworking years dimension existed significant differences.Second, emotional intelligence of multinational employees was positively correlatedwith positive coping styles: job burn out was negatively correlated with positive coping stylesand emotional intelligence.Third, coping styles mediated the emotion intelligence and job burnout.
