Job burnout is the inevitable result with a social development to a certain degree and it is a normal social problem.The high incidence of job burnout is a inevitable phenomenon inChina.But job burnout will seriously affect people’s physical and mental health and career development, so this study focus on how to effectively reduce the risk of job burnout, how to deal with job burnout when it exists. In addition, there are more studies in service industry than in manufacturing.By survey of317manufacturing line staffs in Nanjing,Zhangjiagang, Jingjiang, Yangzhong, this study focused on the relationship of coping styles and job burnout based on the job requirements-resource model. This study expanded the job burnout research fields and provides a theoretical basis for further intervention study,some specific suggestions of the staff management are also provided in this study.By using the exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis, the research comes to the following conclusion:1. Job demand scale and job resource scale have good reliability and validity. Job demand includes skill demand and physical demand; Job resource includes leadership support, colleagues support, Occupations pay and feedback, decision-making autonomy.2. The leve of job burnout is not high on manufacturing line staffs.There are different levels of job burnout in the demographic variable.3. There are different levels of correlation among the job requirement, job resources,coping styles and job burnout dimensions.4. Colleague support moderate the relationship between skill requirements and cynicism.It also moderates the relationship between skill requirements and low sense of achievement.5. Active coping style moderate the relationship between physical requirements and cynicism. Active coping style moderate the relationship between the physical requirements and the low sense of achievement. Negative coping style moderate the relationship between physical requirements and low sense of achievement.
